Lord’s Day Worship and Missions Visit with Rev. Michael Brown - May 23, 2021

Join us on Sunday, May 23 for a special visit with Rev. Michael Brown, his wife Janie, and son.

Rev. Brown, pastor of the church in Milan, Italy will be giving a presentation on the Missions work during the Sunday school hour at 9:00 a.m. All adult and children's Sunday school classes will meet in the sanctuary for this special presentation.

Rev. Brown will also be providing pulpit supply and preaching during the morning and afternoon worship services.

Worship Service (10:30 a.m.) Rev. Brown will be preaching on Romans 1:8-17, “The Gospel-Mission of the Church.”

Afternoon Catechism service (1:15 p.m.) Rev. Brown will be teaching from the Heidelberg Catechism, Q&A 53; “What is Pentecost?”

“On January 6, 2019, Rev. Brown was officially installed by the Consistory of Chiesa Riformata ‘Filadelfia’ to serve the church as their minister. Rev. Brown has been involved with the mission work in Milan since 2006. He and his wife Janie speak Italian and have spent much time in Italy over the years. They live in Milan with their youngest son, Iain. They also have three grown children living here in the States.”

Sunday School Classes Resumed: April 18, 2021

The Consistory is pleased to announce that Sunday school classes, preschool through adult, have resumed at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday.

The same disinfecting procedures will be used in the classrooms as in areas of worship, and facemasks will be required. The Consistory encourages families to attend Sunday school regularly as a way to more fully involve parents and their children in the life of the church.

New Member's Class: April 18, 2021

We will be conducting a six-week new members class beginning Sunday, April 18 at 9:00 a.m.  If you are considering membership or just want to know more about our church, this is an excellent way to get to know us.  Please note that even if you are transferring your membership from another church, this class is a prerequisite for membership here at Christ Reformed Church.  Our former pastor, Dr. Kim Riddlebarger will be the instructor.

Ladies' Book Club: February 27, 2021

The Ladies’ Book Club will resume meetings (via zoom) on Saturday, February 27 at 2:00 PM. We will begin with Dr. Michael Horton’s book, Core Christianity. This is geared to the lay person but will certainly be both challenging and a wonderful reminder of the truths in God's Word. Our focus will begin with chapters 1 and 2, “Jesus is God” and “God is 3 persons.”  If you are interested in joining the Ladies’ book club please contact the church office at urcanaheim@aol.com.
